The Library at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism

  •  25 computer stations;
  • 1 Station for the visually impaired;
  • Self-service library material scanning stations;
  • Film editing stations (FINAL CUT);
  • 150 titles of magazines (including 30 titles in foreign languages);
  • PRESSto platform – on-line version of magazines published at Adam Mickiewicz University;
  • 50,000 copies in 32 thematic sections;
  • Around 10 e-services (such as the Faculty’s Library Electronic Reading Room, IBUK Libra, PRIMO multi-search engine).

The library offers:

  • 88 seats in the reading room
  • 25 stations with internet access
  • 1 station for the visually impaired
  • Self-service stations for scanning library materials; Including the modern Bookeye 4 scanner
  • 2 computer stations with FINAL CUT film editing software

The library collections include:

  • 150 magazine titles, including around 30 in foreign languages

In addition, there are electronic journal archives available such as:

PRESSto Platform – on-line version of magazines published at AMU

The Library holds over 50,000 books. The collection is compiled per students’ profiles and the needs of the Faculty staff. The collection is classified in 32 categories, in which, books can be found in the following areas:
