Educational meeting during Sopot Citizens’ Assembly

Sopot Citizens’ Assembly

On 29th June our Research Team was participating in the educational meeting during Sopot Citizens’ Assembly on parking policy. The main topic of the Assembly was: How to design a parking zone in Sopot to make it more accessible and efficient, while also being friendly to public space and the environment? During the meeting, the panelists received a large dose of expert knowledge to help them formulate recommendations for the Sopot City Hall. Among the experts were: Karolina Orcholska, URBACT expert, Krzysztof Jałoszyński, Sopot City Hall’s representative, Michał Jabłonowski from A2P2 lab and Michał Lejk, a representative of the Mayor of Warsaw on the Warsaw’s New Centre. During the meeting, the panelists had the opportunity to talk to experts in the World Cafe format and share their questions and doubts. At the end, four non-governmental organizations, participating as Stakeholders, presented their comments and proposals of recommendations regarding parking policy in Sopot.
