On May 15th-16th, 2025, dr Marta Hoffmann and dr Ewa Zielińska from the Democratic Innovations Team participated in the 12th Forum of Participation Practitioners (FPP), which took place in Łódź. The Forum gathers those who share practical experience in the field of participatory practices in Poland. Marta and Ewa, together with representatives of the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis (GZM), co-led one of the FPP sessions entitled: "How to design participation at the metropolitan level? – GZM and the first regional citizens' panel in Poland". The aim of the session was to present practical experiences from organizing the first regional citizens' panel in Poland (GZM Forum) and start a discussion on the organization of other possible regional panels.
Participation in the FPP was a great opportunity to present the projects conducted by the Team and to deepen cooperation with the participatory environment. Link to the description of the session here.
