In October 2024 the Democratic Innovations research team observed the organization of the Civic Forum, which took place in the GZM Metropolis (Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolia). The event was organized by Foundation for European Studies in order to answer the question: Train network for good transfers in GZM Metropolis - How to achieve it?
43 participants coming from municipalities in the region met on the 5th, 12th and 26th of October to gain knowledge on the topic of public transport in the metropolis, listen to experts and interest groups, and to deliberate together in order to create recommendations for authorities.
Throughout the process, Phd Ewa Zielińska and Weronika Kędzia served as observers of the Forum and Magni Szymaniak-Arnesen as a member of the monitoring committee.
