The Democratic Innovations Team visited project partners of the research project i4i at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Over two intensive days, 1–2 December 2025, we worked together on summarizing the first year of research and planning the next steps. The meeting was attended in person by Prof. Paulina Pospieszna, Dr. Marta Hoffmann, and Magni Szymaniak-Arnesen, MA. We discussed what has been achieved so far, the insights gained from our collaboration, and how to best plan future activities. The program also included discussions on progress within the different parts of the project, as well as ideas for further research and publications. The meeting in Brussels was not only an opportunity to work together, but also to exchange experiences and look at democratic innovations from the perspective of an international research team. We return with renewed energy and fresh ideas for the months ahead!
