Project RETOOL meeting in Dublin

On September 8th, Marta Hoffmann, PhD, a member of the Democratic Innovations Research Group, participated in a meeting in Dublin that summarized the research conducted so far in the RETOOL project. The projects is conducted by a group of 10 European research institutions, as a part of the Horizon 2020 programme and falls within the area of climate democracy, which focuses on civic engagement in climate policymaking. Also, it aims to address the relationships between democratic governance and climate-related initiatives at the EU, national, and local levels. The meeting, organized by Dublin City University, aimed not only to summarize the findings to date but also to discuss them with other researchers. Participation in this meeting was another opportunity to present the research conducted by the Democratic Innovations Research Group and to present the Polish perspective on participatory initiatives.
