On November 29-30, 2022, Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main hosted a seminar on deliberative and participatory instruments, with a particular focus on studying their political impact. The seminar was combined with an event promoting the recently published book "Research Methods in Deliberative Democracy" edited by Selen Ercan, Hans Asenbaum, Nicole Curato, and Ricardo F. Mendonça. A research grant from the National Science Center made it possible for Magni Szymaniak-Arnesen to participate in these events, which began the international promotion of our newly formed Team and the establishment of new contacts and research collaborations with foreign researchers.
