Hanna Wojtyna, a student at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, AMU, spent a month at the turn of September and October 2024 at the University of Pécs, Hungary, as a CEEPUS scholarship holder.
Participating in a one-month scholarship program in Pécs was an invaluable experience that greatly enriched both my academic and personal growth. I had the privilege of engaging in a wide range of intellectually stimulating courses that not only deepened my knowledge but also broadened my perspectives. Beyond its stunning location, the university boasts an impressive array of student activities, including the Country Presentation Day. The city itself also has a lot to offer-international days, free exhibitions and outdoor classical music concerts in the center of the old town. Throughout my stay, I connected with numerous outstanding individuals, further enhancing the quality of my time in this historic city, originally founded by the Romans. Moreover, I developed a profound understanding of Hungary’s rich history, diverse culture, and the daily life of its people.
