Dr. Lukáš Vomlela from the Silesian University in Opava (Czech Republic) visited the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at AMU from January 13 to 25, 2025. Invited by the Research Group on Border and Regional Studies as part of the CEEPUS project, Dr. Vomlela delivered lectures on topics such as the War in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Disintegration of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Political System of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Emergence of Regional Political Elites in the Czech Republic, the Political and Party System of the Czech Republic, and Ethnomobilization in Milošević's Yugoslavia. He also conducted seminars for students. His visit strengthened academic cooperation between our universities.
