Faculty's projects

Jean Monnet Center of Excellence

Our faculty implements one of the most prestigious grants of the Erasmus+ Programme. It was launched in 1989 to stimulate teaching, research and rebates in the field of European integration at the higher education level in the European Union and globally. We received the EU grant at its maximum level of 100 thousand euros. The funds are earmarked for multifaceted research into external relations of the European Union. Researchers will seek answers to questions about the role and importance of the EU in the new international setup and the nature of its relations with the United States, People's Republic of China, Russian Federation, and countries of South America, Central Asia and North Africa. The project manager is Professor UAM dr hab. Tadeusz Wallas.

Drone Center

In the past academic year, our Faculty established a modern unit that specializes in the promotion of technology and training of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators. Our students take part in workshops run by experienced professionals and learn how to operate drones. More importantly, their training includes practical exercises. Students have the opportunity to take a state examination and obtain a UAV operator license.

European Documentation Centers

It is a part of the Europe Direct, a Pan-European information network. EDCs support parent institutions in the development of teaching and research on European integration. The Centers help students and the faculty alike. Everyone may resort to the EDC for specific pieces of legislation or information about the EU.

Projects completed:

Brains Attack

A traineeship project involving faculty students. Groups of 2 to 3 people competed while implementing marketing, public relations, and human resources tasks.

In the past edition of the project, apart from paid traineeships, winners got a special prize, namely a trip along the "European Universities Trail". It was a memorable trip through Europe to celebrate the 100-years anniversary of our Alma Mater and the 10th anniversary of the Faculty.

Social Innovation Lab

The project involved 160 BA and MA students who were about to enter the labor market. The goal of the project was to raise their level of skills and professional competence, communication, analytical thinking, entrepreneurship and information technology proficiency.

Meetings had the form of certified training courses, workshops, practical tasks, and visits to potential employers.

The Bridge to the Labor Market

A traineeship project dedicated to final grade students who for 3 months had their paid traineeship in a partner company in Poland or abroad.

The Bridge not only got me a job in a Poznań-based renowned company, but it also helped me to become passionate about what I am doing. I proved to myself that where there is a will, there is a way. You can achieve everything, with no exception.

Model Science Shop

We offered our students to develop their theses in response to specific issues, queries and requests from different organizations, both formal and informal. The Science Shop gave students the opportunity to participate in interesting projects and to develop their theses, whereas organizations and institutions could find solutions to their problems and needs.

An important element of the project was the dissemination of results. They are available free of charge in line with the principle of knowledge sharing as a value in itself that contributes to the social development.
