Remote teaching

Remote on-line teaching is provided using tools of your lecturer’s choice.

Microsoft Teams

The application can help you to participate in classes on-line (e.g. lectures, labs, consultations). You can use it to work in groups with other students. The platform has such functionalities as a chat and simultaneous file sharing.

Lecturers can use the platform to assign tasks and specify deadlines for sending them back. Once your paper has been evaluated, your lecturer can send you his/her feedback and information about your score.

MS Teams is accessible through your web browser. However, to avoid any interruptions, it is advisable to download and install the application.

You can find the application at the Office Platform (portal.office.com), the same that supports your mailbox and the Office Package.

You can log-in the same way as you do to other Office applications. For more information, see page 27.

Moodle

Moodle supports on-line courses. Once you subscribe to a course, you will get access to materials and tasks developed by the teacher. You can also find a meeting schedule and a list of topics to be discussed during the following session. The platform supports direct mailing of files to your lecturer together with a completed assignment. There is no need to develop a separate email. Since your Moodle account is linked with USOSweb and your student mailbox, information about any changes made within the course will be emailed to you.

The Moodle e-learning platform is accessible through your web browser at www.elearning.amu.edu.pl/wnpid

Specific general courses, e.g. foreign language classes, can be made available at separate Moodle instances. You can find them at: www.elearning.amu.edu.pl.
